Description
The LapSnapper Transponder for RC is a compact, durable, lightweight, and highly accurate transponder designed for precision. It is ideal for sports where the transponder can be installed at a maximum distance of 13 cm when using a single LapSnapper Pro3 Magnetic Strip 1.2 m, or 18 cm when using the LapSnapper Pro3 Magnetic Strip 1.2 m Strong, measured from the surface of the race track. This transponder is particularly suitable for applications such as RC racing, slot cars, and similar sports.
The LapSnapper Transponder is used to uniquely identify each vehicle, with one transponder required per vehicle. The transponder detects when the vehicle crosses the start/finish or sector lines, capturing raw lap time data. This information is then transmitted to the LapSnapper Pro3 Decoder and LapSnapper Lap Timing Software for further processing and display.
The LapSnapper Transponder is built with reliable software, mechanics, and electronics, ensuring consistent performance. It is protected against water and humidity, making it suitable for various racing conditions. Powered by an internal coin cell battery, the transponder requires no charging or external power supply for operation.
