| 1) LapSnapper Lap Timing Systems are factory-calibrated at time accuracy. The calibration takes 60 minutes for the decoder and 30 minutes for the transponders. |
| 2) LapSnapper Magnetic Strips can be embedded in asphalt, concrete, ground, floors or water, or installed on the surface of the race track. The transponders maximum magnetic strip detection distance should be considered when choosing the installation method. |
| 3) The estimated lifespan of the transponder is between 2 to 4 years under normal karting use. However, its actual lifespan may vary depending on usage frequency and operating conditions. The lifespan can be extended by replacing the internal coin cell battery. For detailed instructions on battery replacement, refer to the “Changing the Transponder Internal Coin Cell Battery” section of the LapSnapper User Manual. |
